[MOD] get news in categories like on phpbb2.de

They are in templates/fisubsilver/images/news

hrm, i have the 6.0 beta vertion running on my forum, they are in images and not in themplates with that vertion

I just noticed that you were using the CMX News Mod and not the Slash NEws Mod

Can you give me a link to the 6.0 Beta?

CMX News Mod = Slash News Mod

Beta 6 = 1.0.0 Beta 6....old buggy version

Release 1.0.1 is latest

News Images are placed into /images/news in the standard Mod. In Plus Version it is coded that every template can use own news images, this is better imho for dark templates. Looks uggly when dark template uses images from fisubsilver shadow.

I have succsefully installed the CMX newsmod, and have integrated it with the smartor portal. Everything is working fine, except for one little thing I cant get my head around.

When posting news, most of my news starts with a picture, (using the usual img tags) followed by some text, the text that follows is normally quite lenghty.

I want to trim the lenght of the news, but everytime I put in a value, it always takes away the picture and just replaces it with a link, followed by the amount of text, I have allowed using the trim function.

I would like to trim the length of the news, but still always first displaying the picture ?

Am I being dafted ?, or is this a problem. I have played around with the trimming function, but the picture always turns into a link, unless the post can actually display all the text in that particular post, only then does the picture display. If only one character of text is missing from the complete post, the pic goes into link mode.

i want to install cmx_news_mod for my IMportal 1.2.but i have got some errors wiht this mod .
