MySQL from freeforums.org

Hello, im new to phpbb2.de. Smile

I have already one site, it's a forum about my city. First that was just a joke, now its something bigger and i wanna to develop it even more, to one community. Of course i have choosed phpbb, but i have several questions. currently, my forum is hosted on freeforums.org, they use phpBB 2.0.22. Next, i will install on my host phpbb plus 1.53 and buy my database from them. Now, main problem is will that mysql database be compitable with phpbb plus 1.53? Maybe im not so clear, but its simple. If i buy that sql base from freeforums.org which use phpbb 2.0.22, can it be used with phpbb plus 1.53, cuz i wanna my posts??
