upgrading problem from normal phpbb to pbpbb plus

Here's what i've done.

phpBB2_Plus_153a_readme_german.html
located in the Plus 1.53a .zip file.

Follow the instructions under this section:
Upgrade from existing phpBB 2.0.XX

BACKUP YOUR ENTIRE WEBSITE FIRST, INCLUDING YOUR DB!

Installed phpBB2.0.22

Only upload the directory update/ to your existing phpBB2 Directory on the webserver, do NOT COPY THE OTHER FILES !!!!

login as admin on forums

Using your web browser, open the index.php File you uploaded (http://your.forums.com/phpBB2/update/index.php) and run all available updates.

IF you get an ERROR!

UPLOAD TEMPLATES/FISUBSILBERSH from the Plus 1.53a .zip to (ROOT)/templates/
After the upload is finished, press F5 or Refresh on your browser window to re-run the script again.

Once you're ran the script....

PUT CONFIG.PHP from the existing phpBB2 install some place safe, you're gonna need it!

Delete all folders/files on your website.

Upload the Plus version of the phpBB2 files to your website.
from the Plus 1.53a.zip

That should be all.

i did it before whith older versions en yes it workt well so it is not the first time for me too..
and i didnt have this problem either before but whit this version i do.
The thing that is bthering me is that the script is asking for a template that is not standard where comes this from orrrr how do i set the script to look for another template orr.... where can i set the right template (if it is possible..)

I can send the scripts or set them online in a map if you like?
But the are the lates scripts downloaded from here..
I did checked today and still i couldnt download any language files en templates i did send a mail to stefan but did not get a reply ...

OK! I FOUND THE PROBLEM!

check this: templates/fisubsilversh/ Thats there, we know that...
however you have a file that's not named correctly.
fisubilver.cfg should be fisubsilverdh.cfg

also fisubsilver.css should be fisubilversh.css.

I'm not sure WHAT file you have specifically, but i know that its not the correct file. Upon futher inspection, i think you have the wrong files altogether.

If you'd like to PM me whit the basic info for you site (FTP for now) I can have this issue fixed in no time. Just make sure you've got everything backedup Wink

mabey i do know now why is is going wrong...
i did downloaded the pbpbb on the dutch site maybey ist changed there so i teard off the whole bunch 5 minutes ago an placing the german files now on the server.. ill hope i have enough time.. Smile

this is going on now for a week or to... Sad

but eho nows.... when im coming back this evening i will finisch it thats for sure Razz
