Styles Creation For Beginners

I would like to create a style, and uise the existing f1subsilver style as the template to work on.

I've done modifications to "standard" phpBB templates, but never created one from scratch.

I've copied and uploaded the template file, and renamed it. I've also renamed the f1subsilver.css and f1subsilver.cfg files.

The styles manager can't "see" this template yet, so I assume there is more work to be done...can someone tell me what it is that needs doing please?

Thanks Plasma...I did spot that thread after I posted. I've followed the steps in there, however in my new style, when I go into Admin mode, I seem to "lose" the CSS properties. The entire admin interface seems to be white and black with blue links.

How can the Admin be brought to "recognise" the CSS file contents?

uhuh i just provided the link im not skilled in styles at all, i think you will find more help here, its CyberAlien's site a well known designer for phpBB, community there is very helpfull, good luck Wink
