phpBB2 Plus 1.53 Released !

I've installed the suma mod on 1.52v, how is this going to affect things now in 1.53. I see there is a rewrite mod in the htaccess files.
will the suma mod work if it's installed in the v1.53, or does the v1.53 rewrite the urls in the same manner. ie. name-of-topic.html / name-of-post.html

also, is the Manage Bots mod installed on this version too? Or do I have to reinstall this mod on 1.53?

does anyone know how can I add to the photo album MOD, an option which allows me to batch a certain folder of images or at least upload them throught a zip file?

At this rate it isn't going to matter much what you add as they keep releasing new versions that don't support the nice mods. There still has not been an answer if those of us who are heavily modded with 1.52 will receive the updates. Even if as I suggested it is only for the security fixes I would be happy. As far as upgrading to a BETA of any program. That ain't gonna happen.

no, it is normaly never a problem
regardless of not, an old or actual Version of CT is installed

i will by the users a permission in a forum, i do it, he give me problem the problem is general error so the problem is here i think that this problem by releasing ...

i think you have an error in the phpbb_user_group table

but to use it to more than repair usergroups you need a CH-fix from oxpus

Just EXACTLY like I said. I updated my board to 1.53 and it completely trashed it. I made absolutely sure it was backed up so I could fix it back which I did. So...giving the benefit of the doubt I setup a new database and did a clean install of 1.53. It is so full of bugs that it should have never been released. It is still BETA and you guys knew that and released it anyway to let everyone crash and burn so you could bug test your work. That is just not right at all. Some folks don't put thse websites up just to help beta test other folks software. Some actually run a website(s) like me.

The best bug of all with this version is how it keeps booting you out and then not letting you log back in until you kill everything in cache and reopen the browser.

Well...I guess since you all won't at least give the security upgrades for 1.52 I will wing it until Olypus comes out.

And please...for the love of the almighty...No one jump in here and preach to me about how free it is and how I should appreciate that. I do appreciate that and have offered to pay exclusively more than once in my 4 years of doing this.

Strange that you think that m8............I just updated my 1.52 to 1.53 and it went really smooth.

Try that with a HEAVILY modded board and see how many mods work and how bad it crashes the board.

People are updating 1.52 to 2.0.20, and some code changes are available there.
It would be nice if someone from the mod team would have a look at those changes to confirm that they are correct though.
