problem with db

Hi again.

I have the following problem.until now im using the phpbb forum nad I have put on it some mods.Now i want to using the phpbb plus version.So i have made a clear install and everything seems to work fine.
But i must using my old db withou loosing any of my records like members,posts,pm etc.

When im trying to upload my past db its conflict and its stops on myadmin.

Can anybody help me?

You are doing it the wrong way. Get det full package Plus 1.52 and read the read-me-file inside the package.

I have the full version of 1.52 but i cant make what i want... Sad

Upgrade from existing phpBB 2.0.8/2.0.9/2.0.10/2.0.11/2.0.12/2.0.13/2.0.14/2.0.15
If you are already using Mods in your Forums that required Database Changes you may have problems installing this version. The included Database Update tool only creates fresh tables for the Mods and does NOT update any existing MODs you are using to the latest version. So what does that mean ? If you are running a phpBB 2.0.17 with for example Attachment Mod 2.3.10 or Lower you first have to update your Database to the Attachment Mod 2.3.11 that is included in phpBB2 plus. Check the Mods List at the beginning of this readme file for information on the versions that are used in phpBB2 plus. If you have no Mods in your Forum that required Databse Changed just ignore this and go on.
Backup all your Data ! All Files from your FTP and also your SQL Database ! Don't cry if something goes wrong and you have no Backup !
You will need the Data of the following directorys later in the new Forum so please BACKUP them : images/avatars, images/smiles, files, images/avatars/gallery !!!
Unzip the phpBB2 plus zipfile to a directory on your local harddisk
Upload only the File update/update_phpbb_208_to_plus_152.php to your existing phpBB2 Directory on the webserver, do NOT COPY THE OTHER FILES !!!!
Login to your Forum as Administrator
Now open the File you uploadet before in your browser (http://your.forums.com/phpBB2/update_phpbb_208_to_plus_152.php)
You should see that additional tables are created now (Added/Updated)
Download the file config.php from your existing phpBB2 Forum and put it in a secure place (You need it later !)
If you used the attachment mod before you should backup your /files directory now. Also backup the users avatar directory which is images/avatars to use them later again.
Did you already Backup your old Data ? If not, now it's the last chance to do it !
Delete all Files of your old forums now (If you have own templates, images or graphics backup them first)
Copy all Files from the phpBB2 directory of the phpBB2 plus 1.52 package to your Webserver (including directory structure)
Copy the file config.php that you backup'd before to your phpBB2 Dir on the Webserver (overwrite the one that exists)
Delete or rename the directory /install
Change Permissions (CHMOD) to 777 on the directorys /files, /cache, album_mod/upload, album_mod/upload/cache, images/avatars, /pafiledb/cache, /pafiledb/cache/templates and pafiledb/uploads
Change Permissions for the files includes/def_icons.php, def_themes.php, def_tree.php and def_words.php CHMOD to 666
Upload the "old" avatars and maybe files directory to your new Forum
Use the new Forum Wink
