is there a conversion program for this? i know i shouldnt ask this here, but i've tried asking at the phpbb site and no one has replied yet. please help Crying or Very sad

This article describes, how phpBB a plus is reconverted into a “normal” phpBB.

Before you begin: During the transformation of phpBB2 plus after phpBB2 is important it to adhere strict to this article. Sufficient Backups should be provided by the files and the data base, if somewhat goes wrong. The adhesion takes over everyone.

* Redundant files remove
o If the script without errors was implemented, the file can be deleted phpbbplus_to_phpbb.php now.
o The listing fisubsilversh from /templates-Ordner must be deleted likewise
* Used files retransfer
o Already SMI-read, Avatare, rank diagrams, put on etc., these must be copied from the plus listing into the same structure of the new phpBB
* CHMOD examine

I think so. I tested it some time ago. (After that I returned back to plus-version. Wink

)
Try it out. First have a backup with mysqldumper from database and backup of all fliles of the phpBB2 - folder.

Some things will be missing, for example birthdays and subfolder.
If you have subfolders change them to normal folders.
