Mod for download section?

Is there a mod for the download section so that people have to have have like a couple of posts before they can download stuff?

Thats what i need as well... apparently there is one out there somewhere but i could not find it.

i know this might mean that people will flood and post pointless threads but if the number of posts required to access downloads is quite low it should be alright i think...

If you kept it down low people wouldnt spam. I hope I find one.

where do i put this code and its not correct anyway is it?

Another system could be inserting a line of code after session management block in dload.php (if you don't want they see your download database) or in auth check about download.
Something like

If userlevel == user and postcount < 5 then show an error message (user non active, or similar)

}

so basically when people with 5 posts or less click on downloads error message is displayed (you dont have access bla bla)

works great and was quite simple

It's possible to allow users with 5 or less posts to view the download section but not allow to download a file?
