It's just a simple form using mail() - which in quite a few cases won't work if people use SMTP to send mail (some hosts simply don't allow this). It should use the phpBB way of sending mails imho. |

I'd say this is a bug rather than a feature request. It is essential to do this properly or my server auto-rejects sending it. This is mainly done to avoid spamming, but it's also the default, you're quite right. |

I agree,
I didn't like this mod from the start but I can't find any thatis better than this one so far.
I have seen this one - http://phpbbhacks.com/download/3096
And another one which I have no clue where I saw it. |

I am having a go at this one, don't know if I can get it done quick enough and post the code back here.
If I can, I will post the code so we can put it in the next version  |
