I wish to configure the calender (as it is in phpbb plus 1.52) more. Who can help me with that?
why? Users donot really understand easily how it works now..
What i wish is the following:
1- How do i make it so that when somebody clicks on the calender link (which brings them into the big calender screen) that they can also add an event there? (so i'd just like to no how do i put a visible add event link there). As in my opinion (if i were 'only' a visitor in a forum) i would think that i could do that there of course..
Right now, the visitor has to go first to the portal and go to the add event option there or open a forum, make new topic and do it from there.. (which is in my opinion a long wa..)
I think it should be possible easier.
2- In the portal's little calender block (usually somewhere below on the right in the portal) There's this 'add event' option visible, very good, but what i would like is that it automatically goes to a certain forum (for example forum calender items) Right now it goes to a forum i wish it should not go automatically, yet it always does that (can i easily change that?)
(ofcourse i donot wish to loose the option that it can be placed in more forums but just that it goes automatically to that forum i wish..)
Anybody more experienced with this already?

That's two of us that want exactly the same modifications please. Additionally, if the Add Events button could be added to the Calendar Scheduler page too, that would be even better.
All help gratefully appreciated

I agree with this post 100%. please help to develope a way to be able to add events from the calendar. This is really making the thing hard for people who installed the phpbbplus 1.5.
Thanks for the hard work but please teach us how to make the Calendar at least like it was before. Thank you. |

I don't know why they haven't it anymore.
In version 1.52 it was there but in version 1.53 they don't have it anymore.
Why can we get a solution for this, the people that make the new version must know the solution. |
