It seems, that you already have that value in your config table. Look into your config table with phpmyadmin and search for "validation" in the "config_name" field. If there is a number in the "config_value" field, than everything is fine and you can switch the mod on or off. Otherwise simply change it to either 0 or 1!

It´s working now. I went in phpmyadmin and chose "testforum_config " and then in "config_name" i wrote validation and in "config_value" I wrote 1 and then pressed update. And now I can turn the validation on and off in the admin panel
